AI can talk your ear off about design excellence. It's read enough. It knows all the words. It just can't apply them without someone course-correcting every single step.
And who does that course-correcting?
The human with the lived experience.
That gap is real. And it's getting wider every time we pretend otherwise.
Mediocrity is the work that's technically fine and completely forgettable. Follows the rules. Offends no one. Moves nothing. That's what you ship when you skip the judgment.
